Discover how to seamlessly fuse contemporary elegance with the timeless charm of Spanish aesthetics, perfect for Orange County homeowners seeking sophistication and warmth. Let us be your compass as we navigate the intricacies of remodeling your home into a haven of Spanish allure.

Are you considering remodeling your Orange County, California, home with a modern twist on Spanish interior design? If so, you're in the right place. Inspired by the missions of early Spanish settlers, Spanish Revival style architecture has been a part of California for hundreds of years. This timeless style not only pays homage to the state's historical roots but also brings a touch of classic elegance to Southern California homes. In the modern age, a revitalized interest in Spanish interior design has made it a trending choice for homeowners looking to blend the best of both worlds: contemporary aesthetics and a deep respect for the enduring classic style that remains prevalent in the region. In this blog, we'll guide you through the key elements and steps to remodel your Orange County home in the modern Spanish style.

1. Color Palette

Modern Spanish interior design is all about warm and earthy tones, making it a perfect choice for the sunny climate of Orange County. Start by choosing a color palette that reflects the Mediterranean landscape. Opt for shades of terracotta, deep blues, olive greens, and warm neutrals. These colors create a cozy and inviting atmosphere that is characteristic of Spanish homes. To modernize the look, pair those colors with a heavy dose of white to give it a fresh appeal.

2. Rustic Elements

Spanish design often incorporates rustic elements to bring in a sense of history and authenticity. Exposed wooden ceiling beams that support the architecture also offer a decorative element characteristic of the Spanish interior design style. Other rustic elements to consider are vintage spanish doors, wood windows, reclaimed wood furniture, and terracotta tile flooring. These elements not only add texture and depth, but will and warmth to your Orange County space.

3. Tilework

Spanish tiles, especially decorative ceramic, terracotta, or porcelain tiles, are a hallmark of Spanish interior design style. Whether incorporated subtly in stair risers, as a backsplash to provide a bold pop of color in your kitchen or bathroom, or if you’re tiling an entire floor, tiles made of traditional patterns like arabesque or quatrefoil can make a striking statement in your Orange County home.

4. Archways and Niche Spaces

Arched doorways and niche spaces are common architectural features in Spanish homes. Quite often, Orange County homes already showcase these architectural elements, so if you're remodeling, keep them! For a more modern look, consider updating the arches with a more smooth round or oval shape if the arches are originally segmented. If your home doesn’t have existing arches, consider incorporating arched doorways to add character, elegance, and a sense of flow between rooms, or, if possible, add a domed ceiling to make the space feel wide open and airy and create a sense of grandeur.

5. Wrought Iron Accents

Spanish interior design style is characterized by a few key elements, wrought iron accents being one of them. Black wrought iron railings are commonly found in Spanish style home designs. A wrought iron railing on your staircase is also a modern way to make a vast impression. You can also use wrought iron in your lighting fixtures and decorative pieces. Simplifying a more intricate iron pattern while maintaining some details is a timeless way to add a touch of sophistication to your modern Spanish style interior design. In fact, wrought iron is a classic design feature has the ability to effortlessly blend in with other decor elements making it a versatile choice that adapts to changing design trends.

6. Textiles and Fabrics

Rich fabrics are a traditional part of Spanish interiors. Incorporating textiles and fabrics with a Spanish flair to traditional modern homes helps create a cozy and inviting ambiance. Consider adding vintage embroidered throw pillows to your living room sofas, chairs and other accent pieces, as well as bedroom furniture. Another way to add flair to your modern Spanish interior design style is to use colorful area rugs or rich drapery on iron rods throughout your home. These textiles can infuse vibrancy and personality into your Orange County space.

7. Spanish-Inspired Furniture

When it comes to choosing your home furniture, look for modernized pieces with a traditional Spanish influence. Dark wood furniture with ornate carvings, black metal details, or distressed finishes work well. Don't forget to add comfortable seating options like leather sofas and armchairs. Keep in mind, it doesn’t have to feel like the heavy, chunky furniture that was popular decades ago. Instead, you could opt for more delicate pieces in the same materials for an updated design.

8. Decorative Accents

Spain has a long history of pottery making so it’s no surprise that many Spanish style homes have lots of beautiful pottery pieces in earthy colors and neutral tones. Strategic placement of colorful pottery and ceramic vases throughout your home and garden can make a bold statement. Other decorative accents such as wrought iron candle holders, decorative mirrors, and Spanish-inspired art can help tie the Spanish theme together. These small details can add the needed touch to your modern Spanish interior design style.

9. Lighting

Spanish homes often feature decorative ambient lighting. Chandeliers with wrought iron or Moorish-inspired designs are excellent choices. Use warm, soft lighting to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere in your Orange County home. Consider updating your recessed can lighting to smaller flush trim-less recessed lights that disappear into the ceiling for a luxury modern detail that allows your beautiful decorative light fixture to take center stage.

10. Greenery

Spanish homes are recognized for beautiful courtyards with lush greenery, so incorporating plants can easily bring a little Spanish charm and warmth to your space. Adding greenery with potted plants and indoor gardens to evoke that feeling of an outdoor oasis reminiscent of the beautiful Orange County landscape right outside your doors. The Fiddle Leaf Fig, Snake Plant (Sansevieria), Bird of Paradise, Philodendron, Monstera Deliciosa, and Pothos are all plants that thrive in indoor conditions but also contribute to the Mediterranean aesthetic.

5 Reasons Why You Need an Interior Designer Before Hiring a Contractor

Are you embarking on a home renovation journey?  If you want to start off on the right foot, end with your dream home vision realized, and go through the whole process without pulling out your hair, then we highly recommend you start by considering the crucial role of an interior designer. Here are 5 compelling reasons why engaging with a designer before hiring a contractor is the smartest move you can make in order to build your dream home.

1. Accurate Cost Estimates

Without a preliminary plan in place, contractors won’t know if you want to add new decorative lighting, tile an entire focal wall instead of just the shower, or add decorative wood paneling. That means their bid will typically be lower than what is actually needed to execute your vision. An interior designer can provide detailed drawings that yield more precise estimates. Armed with a clearer understanding of the project's overall cost, you can make better-informed decisions and be prepared for any financial implications.

One example: Sally Smith came to me after she’d already hired a contractor who bid her $300k for her whole home remodel without materials. I told her the number sounded unrealistically low. While she knew the cost would increase, she was shocked when change order after change order brought the total cost closer to $800k to give her the design she had wanted from the beginning.

2. Seamless Timing and Coordination

Good design takes time! Beginning the design process early helps ensure smooth collaboration between designers and contractors. Don't wait until after the demolition has begun to hire your interior designer! Engaging a designer first will place a reliable roadmap ahead. This approach yields multifaceted benefits: it provides valuable insight into comprehensive costs, prevents time constraints or delays and safeguards against impulsive design choices that often lead to costly change orders. At Vieve Interior’s we have a tried and true process to make sure our projects run smoothly.

Pro tip: Give yourself at least one month of design time for a single room, and up to 10 to 12 months for a full home redesign before construction begins. That way you’ll be able to get contractor bids, start the permit process, and have everything in order before you break ground.

3. Avoiding Design Mishaps

Doors & Windows and Appliances, oh my! These big ticket items have long lead times and must be ordered well in advance. Having a designer onboard from the start prevents design limitations that could compromise your space's functionality and aesthetics.

A note: A designer will holistically consider whether windows should come all the way to the floor, or if you need wall space below for a nightstand or cabinet? They will determine if wall ovens are the most functional for you or if a range with ovens below will better create the open and airy feel you want in your new kitchen? Without knowing details like this ahead of time, you might order costly windows you don’t need or be stuck with a layout that isn’t inline with your vision.

4. Expert Design Insight & Curated Material Selection

General contractors are focused on execution and are typically NOT design experts! A good Interior designer will consider your vision, aspirations, and goals and infuse their artistic insight to turn your vision into a stunning reality. They also offer access to exclusive suppliers, high-quality materials, and unique fixtures and furnishings to elevate your home’s sophistication, ensuring it reflects your taste.

A note about Design-Build contractors: While a “design-build” company may be helpful, they are typically providing the drawings strictly to get permits and get your project going. They are not experts at curating tailored material selections or coming up with custom cabinet solutions. Most don’t do these things at all and and rely on you to select every finish, fixture. Some may offer material selection services, but limit your options to a small selection of vendors they favor for profit reasons. An interior designer will help ensure you don't get locked into subpar solutions that compromise your aesthetic or functional preferences.

One example: When I was brought into Mary Joes project I discovered her contractor was trying to push her into using man-made quartz countertops when she specifically wanted the unique glamor of Cristallo quartzite. That contractor not only didn’t know where to source such stone, he was also trying to guide the design decisions for his own profit margin. His focus was not her vision.

5. A Trustworthy Network

Experienced designers have established relationships with reliable general contractors and skilled tradespeople. Their recommendations ensure that you collaborate with professionals who can bring your vision to life seamlessly.

A note: Your designer will likely know contractors at who provide different levels of quality at various price points. They can guide you to those that are right for your preferences and project budget.

Embarking on a home renovation is an exciting endeavor, and hiring an interior designer can be the key that unlocks its full potential. A skilled interior designer acts as your advocate, translating your dreams into tangible realities. From igniting creativity to overseeing logistics, their involvement lays the foundation for a successful transformation that speaks to your unique style and needs.

1. Stay Light and Bright

One of the most common home design elements that clients ask for is a “light and airy” vibe. Bring this trend into your thanksgiving decor by brightening your color pallet from a deeper orange to include peach, blush, and a heavy dose of white. It's like a breath of fresh air for your decor! Check out these subtly tinted glasses for a classy touch. This elevated look feels feminine and welcoming.

2. Make it Moody

Feeling a bit adventurous? Let's go moody this Thanksgiving! Start with a darker tablecloth like this grey linen one and layer in some dark flatware or candle sticks. We love the way light oranges, peach, or ochre are set off in contrast to the dark backdrop.

3. Bring in Floral Patterns

Granny-chic floral prints are all the rage and we’re loving this nostalgic trend! Layer your place settings with a variety of charming floral napkins (we love both these and these together as shown in the photo below) to bring the perfect cozy warmth to your fall-themed thanksgiving table. Complete the look with these sunflower napkin holders. Blooms all around!

4. Feel the Fuschia

Magenta, purple, hot pink – yes, please! In the wake of the Barbie movie, these saturated tones will give your holiday table the perfect pop this season. These khaki linen napkins with hot pink scalloped trim are the perfect addition to a fun holiday dinner table.

5. Stand out with Unique Dishware

If you’re into an eclectic look, unique dishware is the perfect way way to jazz up the setting of the main event: your dining room table. We love this Morris & Co. Cotswold Dinnerware Collection. It's all about making a statement!

6. Bring in Texture with Boucle

Pulling in warm textures is the perfect way to get your home feeling cozy for the holiday season. These boucle pumpkins add a soft neutral touch to your table or mantle decor.

7. Soften Things Up with Velvet

Create a cozy haven by adding some velvet throw pillows to your sofa and a velvet table runner to the dinner table. Soft, snuggly, and perfect for the season!

8. Keep it Simple

Sometimes less is more. This oversized table cloth, check napkins, and a simple flower arrangement paired with white dishware would be just enough to set the stage for your family gathering if you’re going for a more minimal chic vibe.

9. Add orange and spice and everything nice

If you're feeling more of a traditional vibe this year, play up the orange with this lovely garland or orange napkins. Try keeping the palette more monochromatic for a modern look, or pull some red in with your orange decor for a look that can seamlessly transition from Thanksgiving to Christmas to save you time, money, and even storage space.

10. Weave in Natural Materials

Bringing in natural elements like woven placemats or even these woven pumpkins creates a casual vibe that feels grounded and earthy yet refined.

11. Bring in Seasonal Blooms

Whether you drape a garland of greenery, spread out small vases across the table, or opt for a dramatic large arrangement, fresh flowers are a must! We especially love bringing in seasonal blooms like dahlias, mums, or even sunflowers.  Don’t forget to decorate the buffet table, your entryway, and even guest bathrooms with floral arrangements to give greet guests wherever they turn.

12. Gather Outside

And hey, if you're in sunny southern California like us, you know the weather's usually on your side. Take the party outside! Light up the space with candle sand string lights if you can. And if the forecast looks a little chilly, consider adding blankets to each chair to keep your guest comfortable. It's a fantastic alternative, especially if you're short on indoor space!

How the Interior Design Process Can Improve your Property Value

Plan to sell your Orange County home? You have to attract buyers and beat the competition! One sure way to do that is to make home improvements. Here are the best interior design and home renovation decisions you can make for the greatest ROI.

Orange County real estate is a hot topic! Which is no surprise—given the beautiful beaches, quick drive to scenic mountains or desert landscape, the amazing food and entertainment…oh, and the almost-perfect-year-round weather! However, compared to last year, the housing market isn’t as booming, and doesn’t seem to favor the seller at the moment.

That means that if you plan to sell your Orange County home, you have to beat the competition. One sure way to make your home stand out from your neighbor’s is to make home improvements. In fact, Forbes said this: "With a few strategic home improvement projects, you can not only increase your quality of life in the near-term future, but also add tremendous property value when you’re ready to sell."

We consulted top Orange County real estate agent Erica Hall of the Hall Group, on the subject. Here’s what she had to say.

“In today’s real estate market, with 52% fewer sales than this time last year, homes must outshine the competition in order to win buyers. That’s why the smartest homeowners are investing wisely into home improvements and design. Not only are they seeing greater success in attracting buyers, but they’re seeing greater return on investment as well. In general, data shows a 70% ROI can be expected on home improvements. This can vary significantly depending on the type and scale of the improvement, but time after time, my experience as a realtor has shown me that my clients’ home equity, and ultimate bottom line in a sale, is much greater when they invest in interior design and home improvements. Even if you’re not planning to sell in the immediate future, you and your resale value will thank you later!”

To help you a) get the most out of your Orange County home while you’re living in it; b) attract more buyers when it comes time to sell; and c) achieve the greatest ROI, we’ve put together a list of the best interior design and home renovation decisions you can make!

  1. Modernize and remodel your kitchen

The number one home renovation recommendation we get from real estate agents, financial publications, or housing market professionals is to remodel and modernize the kitchen first! I can’t count the number of times I have heard, “kitchens sell homes.” If you choose to upgrade only one room in your Orange County home before it goes on the market, we recommend that it be your kitchen. Need some ideas on how to modernize and remodel your kitchen? Check out Transform Your Average Kitchen into Luxury with 12 Stunning Remodel Must-Haves

2. Give your bathrooms an upgrade

Today’s Orange County homeowners are looking for a luxury bathroom that feels spacious, stylish and functional! If your bathrooms aren’t giving off that vibe, you may want to consider making some interior renovations to it before putting up that “for sale” sign. Upgrading old floors with fresh tile or stone, or swapping out old vanities for new ones, are great ways to give your bathroom a fresh look. Even minor renovations like updating fixtures and lighting, giving your cabinetry a new paint job, adding a larger mirror for a more spacious feel, or replacing your old tub with a stand-alone tub will boost your home’s value. In fact, HGTV says that you can get 102% average return at resale for a minor bathroom remodel. For more bathroom upgrade tips, check out Interior Design: Best Tips to Update Your Bathroom!

3. Make smart bedroom conversions

Have an unused room in your home? Stand out by turning wasted space into a luxury home gym, indoor spa or sauna, or functional home office. If you don’t have much space to spare, you can help potential home buyers in Orange County visualize what they can do with your home by turning the attic into an extra bedroom, or creating multi-use, multi-functional spaces in larger rooms of your home. Consider a home office that doubles as a craft room, school/study space tucked in a game room, or a reading nook or meditation/yoga space in a bedroom. These dual-use spaces are so important as want and need for multipurpose spaces in interior design continue to trend upwards!

4. Wow them at first sight with an exterior facelift

The exterior of your home should never look or feel neglected—it is the first opportunity you have to make a good first impression with your home. A well manicured lawn, clean facade, and fresh-looking paint job should be the bare minimum to attract Orange County home buyers. To really make your exterior look luxurious, pay attention to the details: replace old drains, remove non-load-bearing columns to opt for a more open modern look, repaint doors and trim (or the whole house if it's been a while), fix the cracks in your walkways and pool—you get the gist! And last, but certainly not least, update your landscaping for 100% average return at resale.

5. Add some smart features and luxury touches to your home

Given that we’ve been discussing Orange County interior design, you’ll definitely want to add some pizazz with custom touches and smart features to your home. Keeping in mind that you still need to appeal to the average home buyer, add in the custom touches that everyone is talking about. Here’s a list of our favorite:

If you're like most modern parents, you want to give your children the best of everything. Creating a modern luxury kids bedroom that is truly customized for your child is a special way to do just that! Not only are you adding beauty to another room of your home, you're creating a sacred space for them to grow, learn, and form life-long memories—and maybe even get a good night's sleep! With so many different interior design options out there, we know it can be hard to know where to start. That's why we've put together this guide for modern parents who want to create a modern luxury kid's bedroom design that is both beautiful and functional. We'll show you how to incorporate special interior design details that will make your little one's space truly unique. So whether you're starting from scratch or simply updating an existing room, let us help you create a playful luxury bedroom that will be loved by both parents and children alike!

1. Set the Stage with a Decorative Wall or Ceiling Treatment

Setting the stage for a beautiful space starts with the walls and ceiling. Instead of just painting them, you can take it a step further and add wall paneling or fun wallpaper as a backdrop for your child’s budding creativity. Wall paneling or wallpaper can lend an extra element of charm and vibrancy to the room, making it feel cozy and unique. For example, a vibrant floral pattern may provide the perfect pop of color in a modern luxury kids bedroom for girls while a dark tongue and groove paneling can create a moody handsome vibe for a modern luxury kids bedroom for boys. These extra details will add a sophisticated flair to a classy kids room.

2. Tailor the Space with Custom Millwork

When creating the perfect modern luxury kids bedroom, investing in custom millwork can be the key to making the space both charming and functional. A great way to maximize space in a room with multiple kids is to add custom bunk beds with lots of cozy features. This will give your kids lots more floor space to spread out and play, which we know they will love. You can also include a built-in desk, a reading nook, or custom closet to allow for optimal storage while adding a beautiful high-end look. With a few strategic touches and thoughtfully designed elements, you can create an environment most children would love to call home!

3. Create a Sleep Haven with Custom Kids Bedding

You can never go wrong with a cozy bed, as it is sure to be the focal point of your modern luxury kids bedroom design, providing them with a comfortable place to relax. Create the perfect cozy atmosphere by mixing and matching ready-made bedding with custom pillows or a custom quilt that compliment your chosen theme. Have fun playing around with different colors and patterns, too! Add an extra special touch with a fancy custom canopy in your little girl's bedroom design to make her feel like a princess. Or match the bedding to custom window treatments for an overall unified design in your modern luxury boys bedroom. With all these tips in mind, you're sure to have a charming kids bedroom your children will love for years to come!

4. Create a Comfortable Play Space with a Soft Durable Rug

To give your child the optimal hang-out space, layer in a soft and durable rug where they can play without inhibition. Whether you choose a rug with a modern-color block pattern, a traditional medallion pattern in a bold color, or a colorful kids print, make sure it will stand up to wear and tear! We recommend wool rugs for superior durability, but there are many synthetic options that are also fade and stain resistant for easy care. Fun patterns, bold colors and unique details can really help bring your child’s special space to life—adding beauty while creating memories they'll never forget!

5. Dress Up the Windows with Custom Window Treatments

When dressing the windows for your modern luxury kids bedroom, functionality and convenience are key. Black out drapes or roman shades are great for those all-important toddler naps or Saturday sleep-ins during the inevitable teen growth spurts! But that doesn't mean you can't have fun with it. Add a sense of luxury by coordinating fabrics or get creative with trim or cornice shapes to add unique flair. You can even customize the finishing touches like scalloped edges, pom poms, or tiebacks to create that charm you and your child will love.

6. Invest in Fun Pieces to Add a Unique Design Factor

Adding a unique design element to your kid’s bedroom can really bring the space to life!  A bright red desk chair or a vintage dresser with cute knobs could be the perfect way to add some pizzazz. A small tent that they can crawl into with a good book, or a cozy bean bag chair they can sprawl out on while they play, are both great additions. A hip hanging chair, adorned with colorful pillows, will add life to any corner and give your child a special place to unplug, relax, and embark upon imaginative adventures. An oversized giraffe will turn your little one's room into a whimsical jungle. Or if you’re feeling extra daring, try incorporating a neon sign over the bed or hang some string lights on the wall. These small details can help add an unexpected twist to your kid’s bedroom that is still luxurious and totally comfortable!

7. Kick-it Up a Notch with Decorative Lighting

When it comes to designing a modern luxury kids bedroom, don't forget the lighting! Lamps can be a really fun way to add beautiful elements as well as practicality. We love table lamps with custom shades and a reading light for late night fairytale journeys. For an extra special touch, why not add a fun and unique chandelier or bedside sconces? This will help you create a personalized look that your children won't forget!

8. Involve your Child in the Design Process

Creating a modern luxury kids’ bedroom for your boy or girl isn't just about the furniture and design elements; having them involved in the process is key. Letting them help pick out colors, furnishings, artwork and accessories will make the space all the more special. And we think there’s no better place for design inspiration than a kid’s imagination!

Curves in Interior Design

The curve trend in interior design came into Vogue several years ago, quickly picked up momentum, and is still going strong. Why? Curves are sexy. Period. Whether bold and abundant, or soft and subtle, curves add a lot of style and flare to the interior of your home. In 2023, you can expect to see a lot of simplified arches in home remodels, curved corners of cabinetry, as well as a plethora of curved-edge details in furniture. Ruffles, Pleats and Fringe in Interior Design

This fun trend of decorating with ruffles, pleats and fringe recently made its public debut in interior design magazines and decor publications, including the cover of the latest Serena and Lily catalog. This nod to traditional design is popping up in increasing numbers on sofas with pleated or fringe detail at the skirt (CB2 even has their modern take on this trend). We’re also seeing a resurgence of ruffled window treatments, pillow shams and bedding; pleated window treatments and upholstery; plus blankets and hand towels with fringed edges.

Moody Hues in Interior Design

If done right, adding moody hues into your interior design can make a space look sleek and sophisticated. This design trend has the ability to add drama to any room or can induce a very calming effect. To get this look, incorporate deeper, darker tones like dark green, navy, charcoal, or even black. Or go with more saturated jewel tones like plum or deep teal. Whatever colors you choose, you can incorporate those moody hues through wall paint or wallpaper, tiles, flooring, furniture, decor items, and much more.

Darker Wood Tones

While light white oak has been an interior design favorite for quite some time now—and still will remain popular—We’re also seeing more medium and dark wood tones being used in designer interiors. And I’m absolutely loving it! These medium and darker wood tones add so much warmth and richness to a home. Don’t you agree?

Multipurpose Spaces in Interior Design

The trend of multipurpose or multi-use spaces made our list of 10 of the Hottest Trends in Interior Design in Orange County in 2022, and it has made the list again! Multi-functional spaces are here to stay. In the world of work-from-home, and where personal health and wellness is a top priority, it is so important to make good functional use of the space in your homes. Here are a few ideas of multipurpose spaces: a home office that doubles as a craft room, school/study space tucked in a game room, a reading nook or meditation/yoga space in a bedroom.

Wellness in Interior Design

We touched on this briefly when talking about multipurpose spaces, but with more awareness around the importance of physical and mental wellbeing, we are seeing more design elements and spaces that aim to improve personal wellness. A personalized gym, indoor spa, sauna, massage table, or meditation room can help facilitate better sleep, reduced stress and overall improved health. While this design consideration is increasing, we don’t consider this a trend so much as an important staple of any home redesign. Nevertheless, it has made our list for 2023.

Nature Inspired Interior Design

This trend also made our 2022 list, and we believe it is here to stay. Especially with wellness being top-of-mind, nature in interior design—the use of natural materials and elements to create a space that has a connection to nature—is a prominent practice of interior design today. This type of interior design aims to incorporate natural elements such as plants, timber, stone, and other materials to create a calming and relaxing environment.

Art Deco in Interior Design

One of the most fun trends for interior design in 2023, is the return of art deco! Art deco is the predominant decorative art style of the 1920s and 1930s, characterized by precise and boldly delineated geometric shapes and strong colors. We love how this design style can really help to bring out a homeowner’s personality and bold taste in design.

Statement Stone in Interior Design

One of the most luxurious trends in interior design in 2023 is statement stone. While marble is classic that will never go out of style, well-known interior designers like Jake Arnold have made the look of a bold marble slab a popular hit, especially with warmer tones than the ever so popular grays. You can use statement stone on your fireplace, the kitchen or bathroom, or on your exterior.

Warm Neutrals in Interior Design

This trend is here to stay. Adding in warm neutrals to your home will help give it a fresh look. It also will make your home feel more cozy, while giving it the illusion of being more spacious. And the best part is that neutral colors will go with any design style. Pro tip: make sure to balance the tones, as well as use a variety of textures, patterns and layers to add depth.

Lavender in Interior Design

Our last, and certainly not least, predicted trend of 2023 is the use of lavender in your interior. We haven’t seen a ton of this yet, but it's starting to pop up in fashion as well as interior design, so expect this trend to be on the rise in years to come. Lavender is not only calming and feminine, but it's also inviting, approachable, fresh and versatile. You can use it to add a pop of color in any room of the house or make it a more prominent color in a bedroom or living space.
