Newport Coast Modern California French Remodel
After a slab leak destroyed the flooring and kitchen cabinetry in this Newport Coast home, we were brought in to reimagine and modernize the entire space. What began as a kitchen renovation quickly expanded into a full home renovation, including all bathrooms and key living spaces.
The new design blends clean, coastal-inspired finishes with the home’s original French character. A bright white and white oak kitchen sets the tone, while the family room features a new linear fireplace and custom shelving for a warm, inviting feel. The primary bathroom was elevated with marble surfaces and a serene, spa-like palette.
Throughout the home, we thoughtfully mixed the client’s existing French pieces—like the master bedroom nightstands and dining table—with new furnishings, lighting, and finishes. In the powder room, the original puffed Roman shade and French mirror were paired with new Kelly Wearstler wallpaper and a custom vanity for a fresh yet timeless look.
The result is a serene and cohesive retreat that feels modern, layered, and deeply connected to the French-inspired bones of the home.
Newport Coast Modern Coastal
This Coastal Modern gem in Newport Coast was a full renovation which involved taking down the walls between the kitchen, living room, and dining room to create an open living space that maximized the million dollar ocean view. White oak cabinets and Mont Blanc quartzite create a stunning kitchen focal point while soothing blues throughout the home echo the ocean vista. In addition to the new great room, we updated the master bedroom with custom white oak desk and detailing, We also revised the landing at the bottom of the stairs to better utilized the space by incorporating a brand new bar with wine fridge and dividing the bonus room for privacy. Two bathrooms were remodeled, one light and one dark for contrasting yet complementing looks as well as both secondary bedrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed worked with these lovely clients to create their dream modern coastal home.
Las Vegas Transitional-Modern Full Renovation
This Las Vegas renovation was designed by founder, Genevieve Chambliss, while she was working at Dwellings Design Group. The home was taken down to the studs and reinvented to create a stunning dining room focal point as you enter with a warm white oak modern kitchen with a sexy butlers pantry. We also reconfigured the bathrooms to add one more so each bedroom has an ensuite and created a beautiful master retreat. Each bathroom has its own character with beautiful cement tile for an old world look with modern appeal and luxurious marble clads the master bath and kitchen walls elevating these start spaces to the next level.
Newport Heights Edgy Modern
This custom furnishing project in Newport Heights embodied an edgy modern vibe perfect for the young couple’s artistic flair. While the project has yet to be realized, we love the sleek custom lighted wall-to-wall headboard with tambour wood, yoga room complete with arched lighted mirror and a futon for guests, a sexy masculine office, and dramatic guest room.
Turtle Ridge Modern Traditional Remodel
This Irvine Kitchen Remodel and Bathroom Renovation in Turtle ridge artfully blended classic millwork and traditional elements with the client’s modern furnishing and artwork. A classic white kitchen with a rich white oak island takes the stage under a new pitched roof with beams to match the adjacent family room, where the previously off centered fireplace was reconfigured for a stunning symmetrical design with oak backed shelving flanking the new linear fireplace and television. A marble bathroom with enhanced storage is accented with the beautiful bubble chandelier and client’s modern artwork.
Corona Del Mar Artsy Modern
This Corona Del Mar home needed a refresh that brought more color and life into each space. Inspired by the client’s existing art collection, we added new pillows, a stunning marble coffee table, and recovered dining chairs. A greyscale floral wallpaper accents the master bedroom without detracting from the artwork and master toilet closet has been turned into a jewel box space with gold wallpaper. A fun zebra wallpaper adds a bit of whimsy to a hallway built-in and a new sparkling tile backsplash in each bar adds a luxurious touch.
